TGIF!!!

wow, what a week!  in some ways, it should have been the shortest one of the year...but holy hell, it didn't feel like it.

this weekend is going to be fun-filled...

tomorrow, a morning skate should be a good time.  i'm going to get used to my skates tomorrow and try them out again, adjusting the frames, etc.  it's amazing, you would never know, but a little millimeter is a HUGE difference with your skates.  note:  this is not me, to the right.

(minor pause, i just saw the biggest flying object with wings outside, but it's almost dark, so i couldn't tell what it was)

even with all the eating out and such from the past week and weekend, i still managed to lose 3 pounds.  are you counting?  that makes 8 since i got this bodybugg thing.  it's almost like i don't have to try and i feel so full most of the time.  i was telling my mom about my new found food freedom.  she was impressed....and let me tell you, it takes a lot to impress my mom with me and weight loss techniques.  she's a mom first, and of course, doesn't want me going back to ED ways.

on sunday, we are getting up at 3:30a.m. and doing a great event that we cherish every year.  we are volunteering at the 5430 Sprint Triathlon in Boulder.  some of our good friends are going with this year, and let me tell you, we are a machine of a team.  we are so fast and getting those water bottles out and goo, it's amazing.  i'm excited to bring my good camera and get some good shots.

afterwards, we are going to my aunt's house for father's day.  my dad will not be there, but is in the mountains at his time share in Vail.  since we were just in the mountains, we decided not to partake.  my cousin jon will be here with his new wife, Judy and his son, jack.  jon's a radio DJ in Arkansas, and a good one at that.  He has a following like you wouldn't believe.

Do you guys ever volunteer at events that you want to participate in, in the future?
