500th post

i was waiting for something monumental to post on this one, since it was my 500th.  but then i thought, THIS is monumental. 

I think i found my scent.  remember way back when, I had been looking and looking for a perfume.  we went through a time when we tried the scent my mom wears and no matter how much we liked it, we (meaning t and i) couldn't get over the fact that my mom wore it.  that was just weird. 

then i went through the trial and errors of it all, grandma perfume and the tribulations of that?  and then the time when t and i were walking through Whole Foods and smelled this amazingly incredible scent.  I chased this girl through the store, whose scent i thought i was, only to realize, no, that was not it.  i went back the next day for something else and was standing in almost the SAME section where i smelled it the day before.  i looked around and stood where i thought the deliciousness was coming from, and stuck my head in the aisle section where it was.  only to find out that the smell was organic tampons or something of the like. 

i went to sephora the other day and found it.  how did i do it?  i walked to the very back of the store, past all the over-eager sales people and when asked if I needed help, i said no.  i walked to the very back and picked up the bottle of "pure grace" by Philosophy and apparently, despite how unlike the name was to me, sprayed it ALL OVER.  the outcome:  i smelled like a clean, white t-shirt.  like linens or air.  it is amazing i love it and i can't spray enough on me.  regardless of the fact that those around me are done already with the smell (they haven't said anything...yet).
