what's going on...

i'm sure you could sense in some way....i've been a bit disgruntled lately.

we have a saying in our office on a print that states "We tend to seek happiness when happiness is actually a choice".  i think i got caught up in the poor me attitude that is SO easy to fall into and luckily, this weekend, after a particularly dull time, i realized that i had a choice to choose happiness and i was choosing to feel the opposite.

so, i'm back on the horse again and there every day with a good attitude.  At one job, i'm closing on a house soon...at another, i'm doing my HR assistant job, along with training for a recruiting position, where i'll be taking over for a woman's maternity leave.  i LOVE the recruiting piece... i mean, i think i really love it.  but in the end of it all, this experience will give me just that....experience.

i'm hoping that my niche in life will come.  do i love real estate, yes.  but i cannot deal with the thought that my salary would be unknown and dependant on such volitile things.  so, i figure that i'm destined for other things.  do i love school counseling, yes.  but it may not be what i need to be doing.  so, i found a field that i have the potential to use both skills and for now, i feel thankful.
