in conjunction with my last email.....
in the last half hour a woman hit my mom's car. my mom was parked in a parking lot of our office and a co-worker saw this happen. he chased after the lady, when she proceeded to drive off and said, "hey, did you know that you hit that person's car?" she replied, "yes, but i'm sure i didn't do anything to it." rolled up her window and went on her way.
the co-worker got her license plate number and then described her to us. turns out, we see this person every day. she is older, goes in for PT upstairs in our office, and gives us a smile each day when we are going in and out and pass by her.
karma lady...i'm telling you.

K- your wording is hilarious! yes, her car is fine...really a little scratch. i don't even think she's going to do anything about it. i would, just for the principle of it...but that's me

WTF? I do not understand people! A lot of people do not seem to place much value in other people's belongings, much less their own. Sure, we don't need to be obsessed with our vehicles, but we should respect them!

Well, if they'd taken the lady's license # & reported it, even for a little scratch it can be substantial problem. CA has strict laws on this & if the person doesn't comply:
Any person failing to comply with all the requirements of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months, or by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by both that imprisonment and fine.
I think i would stop, too, ethics & moral values & all but sometimes when under stress we make stupid decisions. -
