update

as to the $40 a week thing:

we are still doing it.  loosely maybe, but we are doing it.  this week, it will get blown out of the water.  i have two friends coming in from out of town that i haven't seen since 1996.  i still go to the store on Sunday and buy $40 worth of groceries.  this typically lasts us 5 days.  this weekend, we had a bit of a glitch and had Chipotle two times and maybe once more on Monday night.  i made a double batch of taco 7 pie (tamale pie to the rest of you humans) and i made a triple recipe of campbells Chunky veggie soup, pasta, and corn.  whatever the outcome, we are spending less than our "spend all of my paycheck on one month of food" days.  we are proud!

as to the workouts.  this week, i did 6 days of exercise.  it was a good week. i didn't feel overly tired.  i threw some Crossfit in there as well on saturday, and for some reason, it wasn't nearly as grueling as it was the first time.

Monday: 65 minutes cardio, 30 of eliptical and another 35 spinning
Tuesday: trainer
wednesday: 65 minutes of cardio, 35 eliptical and 30 spinning
thursday: trainer
Friday: off
saturday: crossfit- 200m running, 7 squats with a 10 lb weight at my chin, then as many burpees as i could do (all this in three minutes), one minute rest, then repeated 3 more times.
sunday: running 60 minutes
