the redo

last weekend was a redo...of our house.  i know that you have been just dying to see it.  There are no "befores", but just imagine the bedroom, with nothing in it except the bed, the jewelry case, and there were two nightstands in there.  here are the finished products of the bedroom
our bedroom is huge....like gigantic.  we don't like it that way, didn't intend for it to be that way, but that's the way it is.  it seems to be helped by the additional furniture, taking up space, i think

here is the office to the left.  it was filled with glass desks before.  it wasn't collegey furniture, bought it when we got the house, but with all  of our junk exposed, this wood desk set up seems to work MUCH better.  The print on the left reads: "we tend to seek happiness when happiness is acutally a choice".  The one on the right reads: "The future is just a collection of successive nows".

here is my desk corner.  as you can see, there is a full closet in the room, that door on the ,left is to a jack and jill bathroom.  also, as you can see, we've chosen to use this room as an office, rathe than the intended bedroom.

I LOVE the way the bedroom turned out... it looks so serene and peaceful -- I like the neutral, light and darks... :) good job!!

The office is nice too, love the choice of color for the desk, we have the same color, and very similar L shaped desk!! I used to have the glass one too, with the black metal frame thing it was held up with. LOL...

Oh, and I love the wall hangings in the office with the sayings... where did he find those?

Your new furniture is really lovely. And it's stuff you'll be able to enjoy for years, even decades!
