update

Two candy canes, a traditional one (left) and ...Image via Wikipedia
i forgot to update after the last medical mishap. so, i called around to different doctors, made appointments, cancelled them for one reason or another and then finally called the "old school" doctor that i mentioned a billion years ago (or so it seems). his nurse was sweet, had a southern drawl (a nice one, not an annoying one) and convinced me that he was the way to go...and lo and behold, he had an appointment open for the exact same time that my other appointment was going to be. i took it, and next wednesday, i'll be seeing old school! very happy with this decision and very comfortable with it.

i finished a presentation this week.  i don't know really how it went.  i got comments from my prof stating that i was "an entertainer's dream", that i was "so entertaining to watch".  i don't know how to translate these comments into "you are an amazing person that's going to be a great school psychologist".  but i'll pretend that's what she said anyway.

i would like to be putting the tree up this weekend, but i'm afraid it would be a bad thing.  more like, an escape mechanism of avoiding this horrid thing that i like to call...a final.  i have it on monday and seriously, when it is done, i feel like about 30 pounds will be lifted off my shoulders.  i cannot wait.

that is the unexcitement that is my life right now.  please inform me on the fun things that you are doing....i can vicariously live through you.

Hopefully you can still get everything taken care of as planned. Good luck.

Glad the medical stuff is clearing up AND that you'll be done with school for the semester on Monday!

My life isn't all that exciting. My birthday is this weekend. And a bunch of friends will be coming into town not to celebrate it. It'll be fun to see them. =)

Good to hear that your doctor's appt is finally going to happen. Good luck with your final- I was the biggest procrastinator in law school and would probably have decorated a tree instead of studying if I ever bought one...

Just seeing friends and family this weekend. Nothing too exciting since the friends each have two kids. Can't exactly go wild!

a little something about me and the life i choose to live!
