i frequent pet shops every other day. no, i don't stalk the black mollies or the conures, but to keep 4 toads fed and now, a frog, well....it takes some work. what i DO love about the pet store is the fact that i get to see this guy
I LOVE this guy. for many reasons, but the most being that when you walk away, he hangs upside down on his cage, spreads his wings, and "jumps" up and down to get your attention again. I love that he grabs food that is hard, puts it in the water to soften it, then skillfully eats it with his claw holding it up to his beak, looking at me the entire time, as if sooner or later, i'll decide that i want some too.

I've always wanted a bird of some kind. Have you heard of Riley? He's a talking bird- a big star on Youtube, look him up or email me if you can't find him.
I used to be a big fan of toads until one night my dog got a hold of a really poisonous one and we had to rush him to an emergency aniaml hospital. Didn't know they existed? Niether did we but thank heavens we found one otherwise my Peanut would have died.
I love birds. have had many, many throughout time. i think they are so smart, and so amazing to watch.
i know that toads have something that they can excrete that doesn't taste good to dogs and cats, but OMG, poisonous! Your poor Peanut!
OOooh i always wanted a bird like that!!! Like a african gray parrot even...YEAH!
